What to use for Chanukah Flowers?

Chanukah is the festival for lights. Blue and white flowers are appropriate if you are looking for something for your friend. White roses, blue iris, and lilies, ect. Anything would look very nice together in a vase or basket. Chanukah runs from December 16th- December 24th.

What to use for Kwanzaa Flowers?

Kwanzaa is an African-American and Pan-African Holiday. This holiday is a week-long holiday that celebrates Family, Community and Culture. There are seven principles, Umoja (Unity), Kujichagulia (Self-determination), Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility), Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics), Nia (Purpose), Kuumba (Creativity), Imani (Faith). This week long celebration is from December 26th-January 1st.

Kwanzaa Colors:

  • Black- People
  • Red- Struggle
  • Green- Future and Hope that comes from the struggle

I would possibly incorporate the colors from above in the arrangement. No specific flowers to include but could find the colors you need.

These are only suggestions on my gut feeling. I am not expert. I am learning as I go along with all of you.
