August 28th: Hyacinth

Good Night!! Friday…… FINALLY!!!

See I knew you would make it. I am not sure if I should say that this week. I want to support the News down in Virginia. I am so sad about the tragedy that happened there. It should of never happened. That is a selfish act as far as I am concurred. Please in the comments below let me know what your opinion is about this. My deepest sympathies go out to the families of the innocent victims of this tragedy. RIP. 😦 I pretty much deal with this every day. My thoughts and prayer are with family, friends, and the town. I stand by you like you did with the Boston Marathon Bombing.

And I thank you for that. Stay Strong Virginia. #VirginiaStrong

On to the reason why we are actually here for….. HYACINTH FLOWERS!!

Flower Meaning:

This bell-shaped bloom symbolizes constancy and playfulness. It comes in pastel hues, like cream, blue, and lavender.

Red, Pink Blue, Orange, Yellow, Purple, White

Native to:

Mediterranean…

(South Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Northern Israel, Palestine, Iraq)

North-East Iran & Turkmenistan

Design:

These are a bulb plant. There isn’t really much to design with. We can use them in prom wresters. They fit in holes where it needs to be filled in. The individual flowers can be picked off easy. This flower is very elegant for that.

Plant Care:

Hyacinth is usually planted in the Fall time and will be up by the spring. Be patient. Just like any plant that is being planted for the next year. They are a bulb plant so once they come up and bloom you can then take the flower and have a fresh cut and then freeze the bulb for the fall. They should come back if you do the right thing. Keep watering and plant again. Prone to mold and bulb rot.

Today is Friday. I am excited to get out of work today. I am going up to New England Dragway for the start of the weekend that will be AMAZING! I can’t wait. This is Hot Rod Reunion. Kackle Fest Saturday and Sunday. My father is towing one of the cars for it. I am so excited for him. This is a huge honor. I will be vlogging this weekend because my sister can’t go so I want her to see it too. I will be track side and on the track while the cars all get started or push started. I really can’t wait to be there with them.

There is also something in the works, but I cannot tell you about it yet. It is SUPER exciting for race fans. That’s all I can tell you. Until next #FlowerFriday.

Oh, and you are probably wondering why I have this quote from a song on here. Well, I feel as if I have accomplished this. Taking chances and making changes that I want in life to make myself happier. I have always said to myself like a few years ago that I realized I wasn’t happy that I had to stop complaining about it and make a change. I know it is hard in High School and Middle school but please just stick it out. It will get better. I promise. I am one of those success and so isn’t my sister. High school superlitives don’t exist after High School. Who is popular and who is the jock (more like cock) of the school. Trust me I was bullied. I am just getting my confidence back. I hope through this blog and vlogging will help me. Do what you want to do. Your opinion is the only opinion that matters. I will explain more on the car ride up to New England Dragway. Too much bullying going on and it needs to stop.

See you Later!

XOXO

“I’ll spread my wings, and I’ll learn how to fly
I’ll do what it takes till I touch the sky
And I’ll make a wish
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway
Out of the darkness and into the sun
But I won’t forget all the ones that I love
I’ll take a risk
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway”
