Quick and Easy Pie Crust

Good Morning Everyone!

Today, I thought it would be fun to make pie crust. It is a lot of hard work, but that hard work pay off in the end. You know it is made with love.

I made Pie Crust from scratch. Super Simple and Easy!

Here is how it is made…

Simple 4 Ingredients:

1 1/3 Cups All Purpose Flour

1/2 Cup Crisco (or Unsaulted Cold Butter)

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

3 Tablespoons Ice Water

Steps to take when making Pie Crust (hopefully clear):

Step 1:

Sift Flour into a bowl. Add Salt.

Step 2:

Add Crisco.

Step 3:

Take 2 knives or a dough masher (like this…) and cut in Crisco.

Step 4:

After cutting in Crisco well, add Ice Cold Water in a Tablespoon at a time until well mixed.

Step 5:

Repeat Step 4 until all 3 Tablespoons of Ice Water are Cut in.

Step 6:

Roll the dough into a ball and set in refrigerator for a few hours.

It is really critical that Pie Crust is kept very cold so that it doesn’t fall a part when you are making a pie. And it comes out nice and flakey at the end.

I hope this helps you with your Pie Crust dilemmas if you have had any. Let me know in the comments how you make yours.

Also, most of the stuff used for baking is from Michael’s Craft Store. All the festive Measuring Cups and Table/Tea spoons; I have.

From now on until Thanksgiving, I am going to blog every day. Might try to do One Take Vlogs as well. My computer is still weird. Upload from the phone instead.

See you Tomorrow!!
