Hello Everybody!

Step 1:

Mix together Shortening, Eggs, Sugar, Milk, and Vanilla Extract.

Step 2:

Make sure to Sift all the dry ingredients together. Flour, Baking Powder, and Salt. Mix those well.
Step 3:

Mix all together until smooth.
Step 4:

Mix until you can make into a ball.
Step 5:

Refrigerate for a few hours. It will make it easier to roll the dough out.

Cookie cut outs:

Choose you cookie cut out shapes. I have chosen to use Christmas Tree, Stocking, Snowman, and a Star.

I put some milk and water on them to make them brown up a bit. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Oven at 400 degrees. Everyones oven is different. Put them on a light colored pan with some parchment paper and you are off to the races baking up those cookies.

This is a definite family activity to do with the kids or grandkids or just what you would like to do. Just spend time with your family this time of year. And friends too.

Have fun decorating! Show me in your pictures.
