It’s March 29th??? Already???
You have a last minute birthday that you forgot about. I am here for you. I have to say March has definitely flown by so fast. I forgot my Birthday was coming up until a week ago. I know there are people out there that have forgotten about someone’s Birthday. Here are some tip and tricks for AWESOME birthday reminders and last minute gifts.
Pinterest is a great place to start.
Easy to get Picture frame. Go to the Dollar Store and buy a picture frame (or if you want a nice one that isn’t going to fall a part when you hang it. Go to Michael’s Craft Store). You can paint it any color you would like gold, white, or age it. Get some permanent markers and write on some craft paper the days and months of the birthdays. So easy and so fun for you.
Flag Bunting is very cute idea and simple.
Never forget a birthday again. And if you carry a cell phone, well you can definitely plug those birthdays in to remind you.
Not just Family, but your Friends as well can be on your reminder calendar. I am definitely going to do this one day. You will see a step by step soon.
Gift Ideas for a person that is hard to shop for because they by everything anyway.
Here is what I did:
If you didn’t see my previous blog about my sister’s birthday then I will give you a little run down.
If it is for a family / friend here are some suggestions:
- For a Boy: Buy a Mason Jar. Get Blue (or his favorite color) colored things like candy, gum, hand sanitizer, and more. Just little things that would be a pick-me-up on a daily basis. Maybe a stress ball for work.
- For a Girl: Buy a Mason Jar (they come in handy). Get Pink or her favorite color of stuff. If it is “Pink” ie: bubble gum, stress ball, candle, flower, alcohol (over 21), ect.
It is quick and easy. Also, thoughtful but not a lot of effort goes in to it.
If it is Mother’s Day and you forgot. You better hope there is a late night store open. If she likes to cook or tries her best. 😉 You can get some baking mitts, a wooden spoon, whisk, and some measuring cups (maybe a small fire extinguisher, as well). Put them in a small basket like above. Attach a bunch of balloons and (hope for the best) hope she will love the thoughtfulness.
Cards made simple and easy.
Some craft paper and glue. You should be good to go. Find some buttons to get creative. This a cute card I found on Pinterest. This looks simple and easy to make. Little bit of twine, ribbon, card paper, and different colored buttons. I love this idea. It can go for both genders.
I think you all are so creative that you can come up with something. If you do then use the Hashtag: #LizBirthdayCards and tag me on Instagram: bestofliz_. Let’s see what ideas you have out there. Have fun!
