Baking with my Best Friend Betty

Hello Everyone!

I have been baking with my Best Friends Betty…..

Betty Crocker of course.

I have made cookies for the Bridal Shower.

Here is how it went:

1st: Your going to have to make your kitchen counter clear for baking. Then get all that you need together.

2nd: Baking with Betty is easy. For regular old round cookie you just dump the bag in the bowl. Add eggs and butter and stir.

But who really wants to do that?

Let’s make this fun with cut outs!

Let’s get started!

  1. Melt the stick of butter in a microwavable bowl.

2. Crack the egg in a separate bowl so you don’t get shell in there.

3. Add 3 Tablespoons All Purpose white Flour.

4. Mix everything together.

5 Until dough like.

I like to put mine in the refrigerator, so that it is easy to roll.

‘XO’ Cookie cutouts I got from amazon. They were small but perfect size.

For packaging and display, I used bags and doilies from Michael’s Craft Store and a plastic container. Very easy and simple idea for a Bridal Shower.

All the while…

Having the dog on the couch with his big sniffer.

These are super simple cookies to make. Just follow the recipe on the back of the Betty Crocker bag. I had a lot of fun making these. I love to bake from scratch more than anything, but when you are in a time crunch this is the best way to go. Tastes homemade. I hope you all try these out and send me pictures using the #BFFLIZnBettyBaking or tag me on instagram @bestofliz_ or my twitter @elizabirene. Stay Positive! Love more! Smile Big!

See you all soon!!

XOXO
