I know what your thinking…
“Another favorites Blog?” “What?”
Nooooooooo!!! These are my Favorite Halloween Movies. The Classics.
This movie is in all black and white. This is one of the best from back when my mom and dad watched movies. I don’t think of this as a Halloween movie but just a good movie for this time of year. If you haven’t seen it. I highly recommend it.
“Elizabeth Irene! That is a Disney film.” You guys sound like my mom. 😉
I know I know! But this movie is too good to be true. I love this trilogy (three movie series). I am not sure if you can even call it that. It was just her growing as a teenager. She got in some trouble an Agatha is the bomb Grandma! I wish I had her as a grandma…. (sometimes).
Nightmare Before Christmas.
I know I know! Again…. “Elizabeth Irene…. this is a Christmas film.”
I can argue both sides here. Some is Halloween and some is Christmas. I just love Jack and Sally.
This movie is just the best because Tim Burton is just the best directors/creators of kid and adult movies. This is definitely a great family movie. The boggy man is the scariest bit of the whole movie. I think. What do you think?
Classic. Addams Family (click, click).
If you have ever watch the classics you would know what I am talking about. I remember watching on Sunday mornings with my dad the classic Adam’s Family, Munsters, and of course Three Stooges. Besides that they came out with a film and I think Wednesday is my favorite character. She has these one liners that are just perfect like… “Why are you dressed for a funeral?” Wednesday: “Wait.” Oh classic. 🙂 I just can’t believe 13 Nights of Halloween starts this week on Freeform.
Next is like MY allllllllll time favorite.
Being brought up near a such historic town such as Salem has been a crazy and difficult time during this holiday. All of October is just NUTS! If you have never been here then you have no idea. Let me try to explain in 3 words….
2. 100,000 people a day in the city
3. Costumes beyond costumes.
It is very interesting being in Salem where this took place. The sisters are just great in this. I like Sarah Jessica Parker who is related to Rebecca Nurse who was hung during the witch trials. You can read more about it online.
Back to the movie though. The reason for loving this movie is the characters and humor that is in the movie. It is a great family friendly movie for sure. It is very sweet to see a movie like this filmed in a town you grew up near. The special affects are funny in this movie too. Binx is the best!
What is your favorite Halloween movie?
Hope you enjoyed some of my top Halloween Movies. Have a good rest of your Sunday and Week!
Be strong. Be positive. Love yourself. Dream big.
